21-year-old man found dead in Swan River

A homicide investigation is underway following the discovery of a deceased man in Legion Park on Friday.

At approximately 11:00 p.m., RCMP officers responded to reports of an unresponsive male and found a 21-year-old man from Brandon with obvious injuries.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding his death are being treated as a homicide.

Authorities are urging witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
