19-year-old charged after being found in stolen vehicle in Winnipeg

Winnipeg police say a 19-year-old has been charged in connection to a stolen vehicle incident last week.

Nearly a week later on Aug. 29, officers received a second call regarding the stolen vehicle, this time indicating that it was parked on Moncton Avenue.

When officers arrived where the vehicle was parked, they were able to confirm that it was the same vehicle that had been stolen.

At the time, a 19-year-old man was sitting in the driver’s seat, and he was taken into custody. Police were also able to seize a loaded shotgun in the vehicle.

Since, 19-year-old Succes Musaka has been charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5,000.
