Free entry to Manitoba’s provincial parks for Labour Day weekend

Manitobans will be able to enter the province’s provincial parks for free on Labour Day weekend.

The Manitoba government announced fees will be lifted for all parks from Aug. 30 to Sept. 2.

Visitors will not require vehicle permits during the long weekend. Free tours, star gazing, guided paddles and other family programs and being offered by park interpreters, the province says.

Nightly camping fees are not being waived, and entrance fees to national parks still apply.
