Jewish Federation of Winnipeg confirms they’ve received threats

Winnipeg synagogues have also confirmed they’ve received threats Wednesday morning.

Numerous Jewish organizations, synagogues and some hospitals across Canada, have reported throughout Wednesday, that they’ve received bomb threats.

In Winnipeg, the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg confirmed they’ve been in touch with the Winnipeg Police Service and CIJA, regarding threats regarding their community.

Winnipeg police said in a statement Thursday morning, confirming they did receive multiple reports from Jewish organizations, which were similar to others seen across the country.

Officers were despatched to each location and confirmed there was no public risk.

While there is no imminent threat, according to the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg, the concern is still there.

Lastly, the Jewish Federation says if anyone notices any suspicious activity, they should report it to police immediately.
