Winnipeg fire crews battle blaze at vacant home for the 4th time in 2024

Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Services says they responded to another vacant house fire Saturday morning.

WFPS says around 6:30 a.m., fire crews responded to a report of a fire along Manitoba Avenue.

Upon arrival, smoke could be seen coming from the boarded-up, two-storey home.

Around 6:44 a.m., the fire was ruled under control.

WFPS says this is the fourth time this year, they’ve responded to a fire at the residence, the other three fires were March 25, April 15, and May 17.

At this time, the cause of the fire is under investigation.
