Man killed following hit-and-run in McMillan neighbourhood

Winnipeg police say a 61-year-old man has been killed following a hit-and-run Thursday morning.

WPS responded to reports of a collision between a vehicle and a cyclist around 7 a.m. near Wellington Crescent near Cockburn Street.

The 61-year-old was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to a hospital in critical condition, where he later died from his injuries.

Police have confirmed the other vehicle involved in the collision has been recovered.
