Man dies from injuries, Winnipeg police investigating as homicide

Winnipeg police are investigating the death of a 46-year-old man who was found critically injured at 2:30 a.m. on June 2.

WPS responded to a report of an injured man on Furby Street near Ellice Avenue.

Officers provided emergency medical care until paramedics arrived at the scene and took the man to hospital in unstable condition, where he later died from his injuries.

The man has been identified as 46-year-old Abubakarr Koroma.

Police are investigating his death as a homicide, and it is believed an altercation took place before Koroma sustained his fatal injuries.
