Winnipeg police looking for suspects after assault on River Avenue

Winnipeg police say they are looking for the individual or individuals responsible for a serious assault Saturday night.

Around 9:10 p.m. on May 25, officers responded to a report of an assault near River Avenue and Bole Street.

When officers arrived, they found a 56-year-old man suffering from serious injuries.

Officers provided emergency medical care until paramedics arrived. WFPS then took the man to a hospital in serious condition, where he remains.
