Winnipeg police release image of individuals possibly linked to 2022 homicide

Winnipeg police are turning to the public for help in an unsolved homicide that happened exactly two years ago.

The body of Steven Andrew Mingo, 30, was found inside a home following a fire on Flora Avenue near McKenzie Street on April 20, 2022. Officials say the death was a homicide.

Police released an image Saturday morning showing two individuals walking on a sidewalk. Homicide detectives say they were in the area around the time of Mingo’s death.

Anyone with information is asked to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS.
