Winnipeg woman hit by semi-truck in critical condition

Winnipeg police say a 33-year-old woman is in hospital following a vehicle-pedestrian collision along the Henderson Highway Thursday morning.
WPS says officers responded to a report of the collision around 7:15 a.m. near Frasers Grove.
When officers arrived at the scene, they were informed that paramedics had taken a woman to hospital in critical condition.
Through an investigation, police learned that the woman had walked in front of a tractor-trailer when she was hit.
The driver of the semi stayed on scene and spoke to police.
