Winnipeg police seek 2 suspects after 19-year-old stabbed

Winnipeg police say a 19-year-old man was taken to hospital after a stabbing Monday morning.

The Winnipeg Police Service says officers were called to an apartment on Clarke Street near Bell Avenue around 6 a.m.

The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition and was later upgraded to stable condition “after undergoing treatment,” police say.

Investigators say two potential suspects fled the area.

The major crimes unit is investigating.
