Bill Nye the Science Guy’s Winnipeg show postponed due to weather

Popular science educator Bill Nye the Science Guy will not be taking the stage in Winnipeg Sunday due to the weather.

Bill Nye was scheduled to present his show “The End is Nye” at Centennial Concert Hall.

But the event was postponed “due to travel challenges outside the control of the production,” according to a note on the Centennial Concert Hall website.

Customers are being asked to hold on to their tickets until a new date is announced, which the venue says will be happening “shortly.”

Several parts of central and southern Manitoba were under various Environment Canada weather warnings Sunday, including for blizzards, winter storms and freezing rain.
