2nd suspect arrested in death of 19-year-old Winnipeg man

Winnipeg police say both suspects linked to the death of a 19-year-old Winnipeg man earlier this month are now in custody.

Homicide investigators say River Harper was found dead at an apartment on Assiniboine Avenue Feb. 7.

Police had already arrested one suspect – 20-year-old Jadar Morrison – early Friday morning. He was charged with manslaughter and detained in custody.

Winnipeg police now say the second suspect, 21-year-old Jrayden Monias, was arrested by RCMP in Island Lake on Monday. Monias, who was wanted for manslaughter, was turned over to Winnipeg police and detained in custody.
