Police charge man in connection to fatal shooting on Nov. 21
Winnipeg police have charged a 20-year-old man in connection to the murder of Ava Zaber.
WPS says on Nov. 21, a woman who was later identified as Zaber was shot near Burrows Avenue and Salter Street.
Not long after the shooting, Zaber died from her injuries.

On Dec. 6, police located a suspect believed to be linked to Zaber’s death near College Avenue and Andrews Street, and took him into custody.
The 20-year-old has since been charged with second-degree murder and is detained in custody.
