Man killed following shooting in West Alexander: Winnipeg police

Winnipeg police say a man has been killed and a boy has been injured following a shooting incident near Bannatyne Avenue and Isabel Street Sunday evening.
WPS says officers responded to a report of a shooting incident around 8:40 p.m.
When they arrived at the scene, they found a boy who had been injured and a man.
Not long after officers arrived, the man was declared dead.
The WPS homicide unit has since taken over the investigation.
Police say the identity of the deceased is still being confirmed and more information will be provided at a later time.
