One victim dies from injuries following St. James shooting

Winnipeg police say one of the victims of Sunday’s shooting in St. James has died from his injuries.
Sunday, police responded to reports of a shooting near Portage Avenue near Parkview Road.

When officers arrived, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds and they were taken to hospital in critical condition.
Police say 27-year-old Lawrence Evan Pruden of Winnipeg has since died from his injuries, and his death is now being investigated as a homicide.
The other victim, who has not been identified by Winnipeg police has been upgraded to stable condition.
