Two teens charged after vehicles damaged Sunday morning

Two teens have been charged and Winnipeg police are looking for another two in connection to vandalized vehicles and a theft Sunday morning.

WPS says around 4 a.m., officers responded to a report that four teens were causing damage to a 24-hour restaurant along Henderson Highway.

In the report, it noted the teens were seen damaging vehicles, by jumping on hoods and smashing windows.

The suspects then reportedly entered the store, stole some drinks and left, before continuing to throw rocks at the store windows.

Police say two of the teens were found nearby and were taken into custody. The other two fled the area.

A 13-year-old and a 16-old-year have been charged with mischief over $5,000 and two counts of theft under $5,000 in relation to the incidents.
