RCMP charge teen for carrying gun in Portage la Prairie

RCMP in Portage la Prairie say a 17-year-old has been charged after carrying a gun last Thursday.
Mounties say on Sept. 14, officers were called to a home on Willow Bay in Portage la Prairie around 10:20 p.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the teen, who was in possession of a gun.
He was taken into custody without incident and has since been charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a restricted weapon, and unsafe storage of a firearm.
