2 dogs deceased after southwest Winnipeg house fire

The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service says two dogs died because of smoke exposure after a fire at a southwest Winnipeg home.
The WFPS says it responded to a fire Saturday afternoon at a two-storey home on Cordova Street near Grant Avenue.
Crews say the flames were declared under control in less than 30 minutes.
All occupants safely evacuated before crews arrived, but two dogs died.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
