Man in hospital after Aikins Street stabbing

Winnipeg police say a man is in hospital after a stabbing along Aikins Street Thursday night.
The Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) says officers responded to the scene after receiving a report that a man had been stabbed around 9:30 p.m.
Officers provided medical care for the 41-year-old before paramedics arrived.
He was taken to hospital in critical condition and has since been upgraded to stable.
The WPS says an investigation into who stabbed the man is underway.
