Woman recovering after being stabbed at Winnipeg bus shelter

A woman is recovering after being stabbed at a Winnipeg bus shelter.

Police responded to the 1800 block of Ellice Avenue on Sunday shortly before 8 p.m., where they discovered a 28-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds.

The Major Crimes Unit says the victim approached the suspects who were occupying a bus shelter when an argument ensued which escalated and resulted in the victim being stabbed multiple times.

WPS say two women aged 46 and 33 years old were arrested without incident and are facing charges of aggravated assault.
