3-year-old boy killed in collision northeast of Winnipeg: RCMP

Police say two people were killed, including a three-year-old child, and two others were injured in a vehicle rollover in central Manitoba Monday.

A 29-year-old woman was also pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to Bloodvein RCMP.

A 30-year-old man and an eight-year-old girl were hospitalized with serious injuries.

Bloodvein RCMP say the vehicle with four occupants was travelling on Rice River Road on the way to Bloodvein First Nation – less than 10 kilometres south of Loon Straits – when it went off the roadway and rolled.

Police were called to the scene around 3:30 p.m.

Bloodvein RCMP and a forensic collision reconstructionist are investigating.
