One dead after fatal house fire on Flora Avenue: Winnipeg police

Winnipeg police say one person is dead after a fatal house fire that happened Thursday morning.

Officers say they around 12:45 a.m., Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Services (WFPS) responded to a house fire along Flora Avenue.

While fighting the fire, WPFS found a body within the home and alerted WPS.

According to WPS, another woman was able to make it out of the home and has since been treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
