Winnipeg’s community health agency — Main Street Project — is receiving $10.6 million in federal funding to upgrade one of its health centres.
The organization supports those experiencing homelessness, addictions and mental health challenges.
Their Martha Street facility will receive modern improvements to make it more accessible and will transform the former emergency shelter into a space to provide expanded social services.
