Woman in hospital following home invasion

A woman was taken to the hospital, after being shot in her West End home on Thursday.
Investigators say three suspects tried to force their way into the victim’s home on Toronto Street when one suspect shot the victim in her lower body.
She was transported to the hospital in unstable condition but has since been upgraded to stable.
Police say the suspects fled on foot.
