WPS says an investigation began back in November after a snow blower was stolen from a business along Leila Avenue on November 21, 2022.

Over the months, the suspect was linked to an additional 24 attempted thefts, which occurred at various locations across the city.

Police estimate the total value of all items and cash from the various incidents exceeds $30,000, with damages estimated at over $23,000.

On Tuesday, investigators took a 32-year-old man into custody. Following the apprehension, officers issued a search warrant for two homes linked to the suspect.
