Winnipeg police investigating third homicide of 2023

Police have reported Winnipeg’s third homicide of the year.
On Sunday around 5:30 p.m., police responded to a hospital over reports of a seriously injured man.
Police met with the victim, who indicated another male might be injured.

Officers responded to a hotel in the 600 block of Main Street, where they found 40-year-old Carl Wescoupe deceased. No suspects have been arrested.
