Suspect charged for indecent behaviour on Winnipeg Transit

Winnipeg police have charged a man with four counts of an indecent act relating to incidents on Winnipeg Transit between November and January.
During that time, police received three reports alleging that an adult male was performing an indecent act while traveling on a bus in three separate instances.
Allegedly, a teenage girl, unknown to the suspect was coincidentally a passenger during all three incidents and contacted police.
With the assistance of Winnipeg Transit, investigators obtained a description of the suspect captured on surveillance and worked to identify him.
Police say that on January 17, the victim boarded the same bus and spotted the suspect. Again, she observed him performing an indecent act and contacted police. The bus was stopped and officers took the male into custody.
According to police after being taken into custody, his release mandated by the Criminal Code.
