High wind warning issued for Lake Winnipeg, Lake Manitoba

A high wind warning has been issued for parts of Manitoba.
According to the Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure’s Hydrologic Forecast Centre, high winds ranging upwards of 75 km/h will begin Tuesday afternoon near Lake Manitoba and Lake Winnipeg.
The winds are expected to last until Wednesday afternoon.
Due to the wind, roads near the lakes have an increased potential of ice accumulation.
Drivers and property owners within the area are advised to take extra caution.
