2 men charged after Winnipeg convenience store robbery

Two men are facing charges after a robbery along St. Mary’s road Thursday morning.
Winnipeg police say around 3:30 a.m., they responded to a report from a convenience store employee saying they were threatened by three men with knives. The worker claimed the men stole lottery tickets and other convenience store items.
Not long after, officers were able to find two men matching descriptions provided and arrest them.
Police say they were able to recover a bladed weapon, methamphetamine, and all of the convenience store items.
One of the suspects, a 19-year-old, is facing charges of robbery, possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of methamphetamine.
The other suspect, a 33-year-old, is facing a robbery charge.
