Woman dead in SUV-Semi collision near Manitoba-Saskatchewan border

Manitoba RCMP is investigating a fatal collision near Kola, Manitoba, a small community near the provincial border with Saskatchewan.

Just before 6 p.m. on Saturday, RCMP from Virden responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision along Provincial Road 257.

When officers arrived, they found an SUV that they believe crossed over the center line before it collided with a semi-truck.

RCMP say the woman driving the SUV, a 35-year-old from Virden was pronounced dead at the scene.
