Winnipeg police charge four after October theft spree

Winnipeg police have charged three men and a woman in connection to a series of stolen property, drug trafficking and firearm investigations throughout October.

On Tuesday, WPS issued and executed a search warrant at a house along Langside Street. During the search, police took the four adults into custody and seized the following items:

  • Winchester 12-gauge Shotgun and various ammunition;
  • Brass Knuckles;
  • Switch Blade;
  • Roughly .4 grams of Methamphetamine, worth roughly $40.00;
  • Urban Volt electric assisted bicycle – which was reported stolen September 2021;
  • Various tools/power tools;
  • Guitars;
  • Multiple high-end bicycles – also believed to be stolen.

The four suspects, all from Winnipeg, are between 37 and 54 years old. They are facing charges possession of a firearm, failing to properly store a firearm, possession of methamphetamine, among other charges.

Police estimate the total value of the recovered items is worth over $10,000.
