Winnipeg man charged in connection to Oct. 2 homicide

Winnipeg police charged a man with second-degree murder in connection with the death of Creedence Justin Beardy.
WPS said Beardy was taken to hospital after someone found him unresponsive on the morning of Oct. 2.
Police added roughly an hour after Beardy arrived at the hospital, they were informed of his death.
On October 14, a 21-year-old from Winnipeg was taken into custody and charged in connection with Beardy’s death. Police add both the suspect and victim were known to each other prior.
