Winnipeg’s Bison Drive to see weekend closure for rail line repairs

A portion of Bison Drive is set to close for the weekend, starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14.

The City of Winnipeg says the closure, which will be between Pembina Highway and Markham Road will be for railway crossing repairs.

Transit that regularly uses Bison Drive will be rerouted and Winnipeggers can monitor updates on the Winnipeg Transit Twitter page.

Bison Drive is expected to reopen around 11 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16.
