Man dead after being hit by car in southwest Winnipeg

A 78-year-old man is dead following a collision on Osborne Street Sunday.
Winnipeg police said the incident happened just before 10 p.m. as the man was crossing the road near Bartlet Avenue.
The man was taken to hospital in unstable condition, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle reportedly stayed at the scene and spoke with officers.
