Are Canada’s power grids ready for the future?

By The Big Story

Canada has promised to reach Net Zero emissions from our grids by 2035. At the same time, as ordinary Canadians transition to things like electric vehicles and home heat pumps, we’re going to need more power. Like, a lot more. “On the whole, though, Canada, I think, really has an advantage as a clean electricity powerhouse.
We’re one of the cleanest electricity systems in the world, and that’s really largely due to the expansion of nuclear and hydroelectric facilities we’ve done over the last century as we speak ” said Guldiman.

So, what sacrifices might we have to make? And who pays the bill in the end?
