Winnipeg police have released an image of an SUV that was reportedly stolen from a 72-year-old woman in the Norwood East area last week.
Police are looking for the green 2014 Subaru Forester with Manitoba licence plate FCM 461.
Investigators say, of note, the vehicle has black steel “winter” rims that are noticeably rusted.
The SUV was allegedly stolen Wednesday around 3:45 p.m.
Police say the victim was approached by the suspect at Tache Avenue and Horace Street.
“The suspect tried to take her keys from her hand and began punching her. He then dragged her out of the vehicle and stole it,” police said in a statement.
The woman was hospitalized in stable condition.
She described the suspect as a man in his 20s or 30s, about six-feet tall with an average build and dark shoulder-length hair.
