Police search for man in alleged sexual assaults on Winnipeg Transit

Winnipeg Police are issuing a public safety warning as they’ve begun an investigation into alleged assaults on public transit Tuesday morning.
WPS say they’ve received multiple reports of a man allegedly grabbing women’s butts and trying to kiss them while on some buses.
It was added in one incident someone alerted the bus driver that they were spat on as the man left the bus.
WPS say the incidents were reported on the following buses, routes and roughly the time of day they occurred:
- Bus 737 — Route 47-4 — at approximately 7:00 a.m.
- Bus 748 — Route 20-1 — at approximately 9:30 a.m.
- Bus 152 — Route 29-1 — at approximately 10:20 a.m.
- Bus 198 — Route 11-1 — at approximately 10:30 a.m.
- Bus 329 — Route 21-5 — at approximately 11:00 a.m.
- Bus 737 — Route 47-4 — at approximately 1130 a.m.
Winnipeg Police added all the reports they’ve received have come directly through Winnipeg Transit after drivers were alerted to the incidents by the victims.
