Three charged, including teen, in Balmoral Street stabbing Tuesday

Two adults and a teenager have been charged by Winnipeg police in connection to a stabbing along Balmoral Street on Tuesday.

Officers say they were called to the area Sept. 13 due to reports that a fight had broken out.

Winnipeg Police Service says when officers arrived, they found a man in his 20s bleeding from a stab wound.

The man was treated by officers and paramedics at the scene before being taken to a hospital in an unstable condition.

Police say not long after the incident they were able to locate four suspects believed to be linked to the incident and placed them in custody.

A 16-year-old, a 29-year-old, and a 34-year-old have since been charged with various charges including aggravated assault and possession of a weapon.

The fourth individual that was taken into custody was released with no charges.
