Winnipeg man facing 27 gun and drug charges

A Winnipeg man is facing 27 charges relating to drugs and firearms following a police investigation.

Winnipeg police say they arrested a 40-year-old man with 42 grams of cocaine on Sept. 11.

Afterwards, they issued a warrant to search an apartment along Clayton Drive.

Through the search of the apartment and the man’s vehicle, police seized multiple items, including drugs, guns, ammunition, a stolen driver’s license, and a crossbow.

Police say the man remains in custody and is facing 20 firearm-related charges, five drug-related charges, and a pair of other charges.
