Teen shot near Main St Wednesday night, WPS investigating

A teen was taken to hospital after a shooting near Main Street.

Police responded to reports of shots fired near Main and Jarvis Avenue shortly before 7 on Wednesday night.

Officers located a teenage boy with a gunshot wound. He was transported to hospital in unstable condition but was later upgraded to stable.

The Major Crimes Unit is investigating, no arrests have been made.
