By The Canadian Press

Police say a 35-year-old man is facing charges after a sexual assault investigation involving three teenage girls.

Winnipeg police say the investigation began in March and the suspect was arrested Tuesday.

They say investigators believe that between December 2021 and February 2022 the man allegedly lured the teens to several residences within the city with the promise of drugs and alcohol.

Police allege the girls, who range in age from 13 to 16, were given drugs and alcohol and then forced to commit sexual acts.

Clayton Bradley Prince of Winnipeg has been charged with four counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference and forcible confinement, and other offences.

Police say before the allegations Prince and the teens knew one another.
