Pair of teens charged after attempted robbery sends one man to hospital

Two teenagers, 14 and 16-years-old, have been charged in connection with an attempted robbery on July 18.

Winnipeg Police Services says the pair were observed attempting to rob someone along Arlington Street at which point a witness said one of the teens stabbed them and fled the scene.

Upon arriving at the scene, WPS found and treated a 51-year-old man who was suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to hospital in an unstable condition.

WPS located the teens believed to be involved, and both have since been charged with robbery, assault with a weapon, and possession of a weapon.
