Dog shot in front of North End home: police

A resident of Winnipeg’s North End says their dog was shot by two unknown suspects on Tuesday evening.
The resident told police the suspects shot the animal outside their home on Mountain Avenue near Salter Street around 5 p.m.
The suspects allegedly then fled on foot.
Police say the dog was taken to a veterinary hospital for emergency medical care.
The pet was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
