Winnipeg teen shot, taken to hospital

Winnipeg police are investigating after a teen was shot sometime between late Sunday night and Monday morning.

WPS says a local hospital notified them around 1:30 a.m. of a 16-year-old who had arrived with upper body wounds.

The hospital says when the teen arrived, they were in unstable condition. Their condition has since been changed to stable.

Police believe the teen was taken to the hospital via a taxi but no further details have been provided at this time.
