Three teens charged with aggravated assault after school incident

Three girls are facing aggravated assault charges after an incident in a school field.

Police responded to reports of an assault in the field behind Victoria-Albert School. Police say a witness observed a victim on the ground being kicked in the head by a group of people.

A teenage girl with serious injuries was transported to hospital in stable condition.

A 12-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl are facing charges of aggravated assault.

A 13-year-old girl is also facing charges of aggravated assault, along with drug and weapons possession charges. She remains in police custody.
