One man found dead inside burning home in Winnipeg’s North End

Winnipeg police are investigating what they describe as a “suspicious death,” after the body of a man was found at a home on fire in the city’s North End on Wednesday.
Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service were called to the scene of an active fire at a two-storey home on Flora Avenue near McKenzie Street around 6:30 a.m.
The body of a man was found inside the home.
A WPS release did not specify how the fire started.
The Winnipeg police’s homicide unit is charged with the investigation.
