Manitoba man dies after getting trapped underwater while using tractor to clear snow

RCMP say a 67-year-old man has been killed while using a tractor to clear snow on his property in southern Manitoba.

Police say the tractor overturned in a water-filled ditch in the Rural Municipality of Morris on Friday, trapping the man under water.

They say the local fire department was able to extract him, but he was pronounced dead.

The Mounties say they continue to investigate.
