One man dead in Winnipeg West End shooting

A man has died of his injuries after being shot in Winnipeg’s West End Monday evening.

Police say they responded to a report of a shooting on Sargent Avenue near Beverley Street around 5 p.m.

Officers found the victim with serious injuries, according to a WPS release.

He was transported to hospital in critical condition, where he later died.

Police have not made any arrests.
