Police release video of April shooting as suspect remains at large

WINNIPEG (CityNews) – Winnipeg police are turning to the public for assistance in what is believed to be a targeted shooting in April.
Police say around 5:30 a.m. on April 24, two men in their 20s were shot while they were in an SUV in the area of College Ave. and Arlington St.

Both victims were taken to hospital with severe gunshot wounds. One of the victims was treated and released, while the other victim sustained severe life-altering injuries.
“At this point, the investigators do believe that this was a targeted shooting. And that the suspect that we have developed through this photograph is responsible for the shooting,” explained Constable Danny McKinnon.

Police say the suspect is described as a man in his late teens or early 20s, with dark hair, a medium build, and he was wearing a light-coloured hoodie.
